About Us
Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Early Detection (CAPED) Trust (www.capedindia.org) is a community outreach organisation working in the healthcare domain since 2014. Our core area of work is cancer prevention and early detection, particularly women’s cancer with a special focus on cervical cancer. We break down barriers to women’s health, and empower women to take action regarding their own health. We achieve this through community outreach, awareness and facilitating cancer screening and undertaking patient navigation for women from economically weaker sections of the society.

About the Event
CAPED hosted a celebratory event on May 28, 2024, from 2 PM to 6 PM at Stellar Resorts, Rajokri, New Delhi, commemorating its 10th Anniversary. This occasion coincided with the annual observance of Cervical Cancer Prevention Day (CCPD), initiated by CAPED on May 21, 2022, as a day of action dedicated to the prevention and elimination of cervical cancer. The event also aligned with the International Day of Action for Women’s Health, emphasizing the global importance of women’s health initiatives.
Highlights of the Event
CAPED celebrated its 10th Anniversary of Resilience with a remarkable event. We were honored to bring together our esteemed partners, trustees, community representatives, volunteers, and ambassadors, all of whom have been profoundly impacted by our work. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of “The CAPED Film,” a captivating presentation that captured the essence of our organization, goals, vision, and the heartfelt sentiments that drive us—truly the heart and soul of CAPED.
