Global Care, a Gurugram-based non-hospital medical tourism startup, has successfully raised $3 million in a Series A funding round led by 35North India Discovery Fund – II. The fresh capital will be instrumental in bridging healthcare divides, enabling the company to build clinical excellence through strategic consulting and offer convenient access to world-class patient care, according to a statement from the company.
Ashwani Singh, Managing Director at 35North, expressed confidence in the company and the sector, highlighting the advantages of medical tourism across key destinations such as India, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Germany, and Thailand. “The sector is benefiting from cutting-edge medical care across specialties in these countries, supported by the availability of high-end medical equipment and the competitive pricing and timely services offered,” Singh noted.
Founded in 2009, Global Care specializes in providing advanced medical care across various specialties, aiming to bridge global healthcare gaps by expanding its services internationally. The company is focused on developing clinical corridors to support patients who require treatment abroad, positioning itself as a leading global healthcare consultant.

India’s medical tourism industry, valued at approximately $6 billion in 2022, is projected to grow to $13 billion by 2026, according to a FICCI report.
