Max Healthcare and IIM Kashipur Partner for Hospital Management Programme

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Max Healthcare Ltd., a prominent player in the healthcare sector, to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare management professionals.

The collaboration aims to introduce a nine-month Post Graduate Programme in Hospital Management tailored for executives and managers seeking to enhance their expertise in hospital operations. This program will equip participants with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of the healthcare landscape.

The partnership will also involve joint research initiatives, seminars, and other academic collaborations to facilitate knowledge exchange.

The inaugural program is set to begin by the end of the year and will feature faculty from both IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare. It will offer hands-on training opportunities at Max hospitals.

India’s healthcare spending as a proportion of GDP is projected to increase to 2.1 percent in FY23, up from 2.2 percent in FY22 and 1.6 percent in FY21, according to the Economic Survey 2022-23. The global healthcare market is also expected to witness significant growth by 2030.

This collaboration between IIM Kashipur and Max Healthcare is well-timed to meet the increasing demand for skilled healthcare management professionals in India’s evolving healthcare sector.
